An updated pollen count and a look at our risk for rain today -- Justin
Thursday's Pollen Count:
Molds, 800, Moderate
FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS:
☔️ Mist, drizzle, and fog this morning
⚡️ Isolated storm this afternoon
🥵 Hot weather next week
FORECAST:
Good morning! Yesterday's rainfall wasn't what we'd hoped for, but there were some spots that saw healthy totals over the last 24 hours:
Blanco: 1.83"
Comfort: 0.60"
Fair Oaks Ranch: 0.48"
Timberwood Park: 0.44"
San Antonio Int'l: 0.11"
Most of the heavy rain that moved across the Hill Country last night has shifted well to the east. There are some outflow boundaries around, which could stir up some showers and storms today. While coverage will be limited, any storm that pops up could briefly become strong. Storms could put down some localized, heavy rain, too. Rain chances today sit at 30%. Otherwise, it'll be cloudy for the first half of the day, with a few peeks of sun this afternoon. We'll reach the low to mid-80s.
Friday also brings isolated to widely scattered storms. Like today, it'll be warm and humid, with partly to mostly cloudy skies. We'll also watch for storms Friday night into very early Saturday morning.
Rain chances dip over the weekend. While we can't rule out a stray storm, any activity will be isolated. With more sun, temperatures will begin to rise. Upper-80s are forecast for Saturday and Sunday.
Even warmer weather takes hold next week, as temps drift into the 90s.
Have a great day!
