Alright... who's going to remind May that it isn't July?! 😬 ~ Mia
WEATHER HEADLINES:
• Morning clouds/brief fog early Sunday, then sunny and hot
• 90s continue through next week
• Drying out for now, next shot at isolated rain by mid-to-late week
FORECAST DETAILS:
Hope you're finding a way to stay cool this Saturday! 🥵 Evening plans will consist of mostly clear skies and temperatures gradually falling into the 80s after sunset.
Looking ahead, the heat will continue to be the big story this weekend and into next week. Sunday starts a bit warmer (and humid) with lows in the low 70s and morning clouds/brief patchy fog. Plenty of sunshine takes over by the afternoon with highs headed for the mid-90s.
More of the same is in store Monday, but as a high pressure system moves closer to Texas, temperatures climb even more so with highs in the upper 90s by Tuesday. Factor in the humidity, and heat indices will likely be in the triple digits at times.
We'll stay dry over the next several days, but a slight shift to our weather pattern could send a few isolated storm chances back into the forecast by the middle to later portions of next week. It'll still be hot, but something to check back on in the days ahead!
Until then, stay cool and be careful out in this heat! ~ Mia
